corona impact on the economy

CORONA : THE IMPACT OF tHE PANDEMIC ON ECONOMY

The world suddenly came to a halt due to corona outbreak in the recent past.

It has adversely affected the economy of countries around the world.

In such an evolving crisis, we cannot predict how long it will take to unfold and what will be its long-term impact.

The repercussions of COVID-19 could be devastating, both at biological and economic levels.

Although the global growth of the financial year 2020 is going to drop, how far it drops will depend upon the timeline and the effectiveness of the government’s actions, along with the length of the corona pandemic.

The steep downfall of the GDP is a live example that we have witnessed so far.

Technology, like always, being a savior, has helped to tick the economy.

However, it is just a buffer.

Some of the greatly impacted sectors are those related to E-commerce, import and export, travel and tourism, and related services.

Therefore, the need for a V-shaped economy recovery is the call of time for a better tomorrow and for coming generations.

A few quotes on the pandemic:

“To those who advocate that America follow the Chinese model of a totalitarian lockdown because of a virus or flu strain, must remember that the Maoist principle of Chinese rule is founded on total control of the populace, with the loss of freedom on every front: of speech, movement, work, information. Americans shouldn’t be drinking the green tea so unquestioningly.”

― Brian D’Ambrosio

“The same people who refuse to wear masks and claim it’s all just a hoax, also claim that China hid how deadly the virus is.

Those two thoughts clearly contradict each other, but somehow they’re too brainwashed to notice.”
― Oliver Markus Malloy, American Fascism: A German Writer’s Urgent Warning To America

“The world needs huge positive energy to fight against the negative forces. Go to the center of your inner begin and generate that positive energy for the welfare of the humanity.”

― Amit Ray, World Peace: The Voice of a Mountain Bird

“In every crisis, doubt or confusion, take the higher path – the path of compassion, courage, understanding and love.”

― Amit Ray, Nonviolence: The Transforming Power

“When the whole world is entrenched in the bunker of physical and often emotional isolation, only flexibility and ingenuity can revive us to remain grounded and imbibe the bolstering sunlight piercing through the canvas of chaos. (Because the world has corona)”

― Erik Pevernagie

“These so-called bleak times are necessary to go through in order to get to a much, much better place.”

― David Lynch

Last but not the least –

“Scientists discovered that 82% of subjects tested for COVID-19 in a study had a Vitamin D deficiency. That makes sense. Exposure to sunlight creates Vitamin D in the human body. Sars-CoV-2 is closely related to the bat virus RaTG13 and other viruses in bats, and they live in deep, dark caves and usually only emerge at night.

The lack of Vitamin D made those subjects physiologically similar to the natural host (it’s alleged COVID mutated in some unknown vector into a more virulent form) and created ideal conditions for zoonosis to occur.”
